Dance Movement Therapy

Dance movement therapy is a form of expressive arts therapy, similar to music therapy and drama therapy. Also known as movement therapy, it helps participants enhance awareness, explore self-identity, and regulate emotions through physical movement. During the therapy process, therapists emphasize listening to and expressing the body's voice, exploring memories stored in the body over the years.

Using each participant’s body as a tool, they can experience the connection between body and mind, promoting overall well-being and helping individuals overcome psychological barriers. The therapeutic process may also incorporate various expressive arts mediums, such as visual arts, music, and drama, enriching participants' experiences and fostering different levels of awareness.
